At the beginning of the XXº century and for about 15 years Casa Caprile was the residence of the Queen of Sweden, Victoria Von Baden, who was advised by her doctor, the famous Axel Munthe, to move to Anacapri, to improve her health conditions. By the end of the 50s' the house was turned into a hotel which maintains even today the enchanting atmosphere of the past.
Today the Hotel Casa Caprile is the ideal place for who wants to have a relaxant stay, far away from the noise and the confusion, offerig the possibility to reach the most popular place of Capri "La Piazzetta" and all the other places of the Island.
The Hotel has 22 rooms, including two suites, all pleasantly classically furnished, with private bathrooms, pay tv, telephone, frigo bar and heating. The air conditioning is on request and free of charge. Some rooms have balconies and terraces from which it's possible to enjoy a view of the sea of Capri and surrounding park.
Thanks to the southfacing hillside setting of the Villa, it's possible to enjoy, throughout the day, sun and gentle breezes.
The surrounding park is of particular botanic interest containing ficus, mangroves, palms, pines, ciprus and other exotic plants; there is also available to clients a lovely terrace with sea view where they can have a continetal breakfast buffet with organic products.
The hotel is not accessible to disabled guests as it can only be reached by stairs.
