Villa Ulivi is a beautiful, impressive and luxurious fifteenth century Florentine Villa located very close to Florence historic centre.
Access to the downtown is attainable via a comfortable walk or a short bus ride down the famous Via Bolognese.
This grand Villa captures both the traditional Tuscan style and atmosphere while incorporating the comforts and amenities available today.
With vineyards and olive orchards that beautify the grounds, Villa Ulivi allows for a relaxing retreat from the hustle-and-bustle of the nearby city centre.
Villa Ulivi is located in a prestigious residential area of Florence, very close to the centre and to the main monuments and attractions.
In spite of its central situation, Villa Ulivi is immersed in a garden planted with fragrant roses and lavender, at the end of a shady horse-chestnuts drive. Large and elegant rooms, illuminated by the Tuscan sun and open onto the gardens of the historic Villa, have been added in the course of the last two centuries to the fascinating ancient wine-cellars and horse-stables.
From the main terrace of Villa Ulivi, guests can easily enjoy the view of Florence and of its incomparable, unspoilt countryside. Infact, the main terrace is situated on the top of the building and it opens onto a wide view of the unique Florentine landscape, that was described by Fernand Braudel as "the most exciting countryside in the world".
At Villa Ulivi, furnishings have been chosen, with an eclectic taste, both among Tuscan pieces of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries and from the most heterogeneous styles, creating an atmosphere that is, at the same time, classical and particular, and overall suitable for the guests who want to spend a first class charming holiday, as it is usual in the most fascinating historic Florentine Villas.
