The San Gallo Hotel is located in a small characteristic campo (square), called San Gallo or Rusolo, which has an ancient well and curb. The hotel’s location is unique thanks to its proximity to the major places of interest in the town; in fact, St Mark’s Square is only 50 metres away, and La Fenice Theatre is only 5 minutes’ walk from the Campo. The main Venetian streets, called Calli, which wind all around this area, charm the visitors with their attractive colorful shop windows (Calle dei Fabbri, Procuratie, Mercerie, Frezzeria, Calle Larga XXII Marzo, Rialto).

Einzelzimmer sind nicht zu emfpehlen da sehr winzig

Really disappointed this hotel was nothing like the web advert we did not stay, huge flight of stairs to climb with no one to help. Looked like a one man band operation. We went to the Best Western Cavaletto which was 100% better. It was worth paying a forfeit not to stay in the San Gallo !! I would not recommend it to anyone maybe back packers who are looking for a place for the night !!

Todo el personal a sido muy profesional, desde que llegamos fueron muy amables con nosotros.

Das Zimmerr war sehr klein, man konnte sich kaum anziehen. Auch hatte das Zimmer fast kein Tageslicht, da man vom Fenster direkt in eine Hausmauer (20 cm Abstand) schaute, der Ausblick war furchtbar und auf dem Gemäuer dazwischen war Schmutz und ein Müllsack, Es roch nicht gut, wenn man das Fenster aufmachte, für 3 Stene erwarte ich mir so etwas nicht. Frühstück auf den kleinen wackeligen Bistrotischen ist auch eher mühsam. Im Prospekt siehr man eine überdachte Tereasse zum Frühstücken, man nahm an, dass diese auch im Frühling benutzbar ist. Die Matraze war sehr hart und auf der einen Seite hatte man immer eine Feder zwischen den Rippen. Alles in allem nicht sehr erholsam. Nur 1 deutscher Sender im Sat TV. Lage war aber sehr gut und das Personal sehr frunedlich.
