ATA Hotel Quark

Located ten minutes from the centre of Milan, in an area easily reached by all main connections, the ATAHOTEL Quark is a modern hotel structure with five floors of rooms, 2 of which have been completely renovated and are given over to non-smokers, and 3 floors of exhibition and congress areas for a total of 6,100 m2.
At the ATAHOTEL Quark, guests are immediately won over by the immense space of the hotel and, at the same time by small details which make the hotel more comfortable and welcoming to guests.
All our 238 rooms are true Suites of different shapes and sizes, all furnished in modern style and equipped to levels of comfort and standards which make even the most demanding of guests feel at home and with special attention paid to business clients.
Charlie's Bar, located in the Foyer area, is for those guests who would like to relax over a classic cocktail at the end of the day or take a quickly served light meal between meetings. The Ascot restaurant, located next to the Reception area, offers its diners the best of local and regional cuisine in an elegant and refined setting, while the Pluvium restaurant, is a welcoming summer garden where guests can eat breakfast, lunch, light snacks and dinner.
The structure is also the largest congress centre in the city: with 38 meeting halls (the largest of which holds up to 1.400 people), 7 halls for parties and banquets, a large outside car park with 700 parking spaces and a covered garage with 120 parking spaces, ATAHOTEL Quark is an excellent reference point for any event from training courses to conventions, meetings to conferences, etc..
 We also provide a shuttle service for guests during the main Trade Fairs at the Fiera di Milano (Exhibition Center).

ATAHOTEL Quark is located on the south side of Milan in an area easily accessed by all the major roads that connect the city, with Piazza Duomo 3.5 km away and the exit of the Tangenziale West Vigentina (Ring Road) 4 km away.
You can get easily to and from the Hotel by public transport. The N° 95 bus is four stops away from the Famagosta Metro (subway) station, which in turn takes you straight into town and the principal railroad stations.

Last year when I visited your hotel I had a banner shipped to your hotel that I had paid $300 for. The front desk repeatedly told me it was not received and when I got back to NY I traced the package and it had been signed for by your front desk the day I checked in. Despite several calls and much time spent on hold paying international phone rates my banner was never recovered or accounted for by your hotel. No one on the phone was able to help me or wanted to be bothered

Reception staff not friendly. Restaurant staff better
Nothing much to do around hotel. Appears to specialise only on conferences. No where to sit and enjoy beautiful sunshine

The hotel is definitely now what has been advertised. The staff is rally nice, kind and attentious, but the services are rather poor (no room service after 10:30pm, no lobby bar after midnight), the location is gruesome (it is not 10 minutes far from downtown Milan, but rather 50 minutes far...), there are absolutely no services or conveniences around and the decoration is old-fashioned. In sum, it' s not worth what it charges.
