Immersed in a spectacular monumental park at the foot of Vesuvius, overlooking the Gulf of Naples and just a few minutes from the Neapolitan capital, stands the Miglio d’Oro Park Hotel.

The Hotel is the result of a careful transformation and restoration of the eighteenth-century “Villa Aprile”, formerly Riario Sforza, a magnificent construction among the cluster of “Vesuvian Villas”, a series of aristocratic residences of great architectural value dating back to the 1700s, which map out the enchanting route of the “Miglio d’Oro”, literally the “Golden Mile”.

The Miglio d’Oro Park Hotel is located in Ercolano (Herculaneum), a very ancient city of Greek origin on the slopes of Vesuvius, along the stretch of coast connecting Naples to the Sorrentine Peninsula. It is also only 100 metres from the archaeological excavation of Herculaneum, whose historical and cultural significance rivals the more famous discoveries of neighbouring Pompeii.

Particular attention is given to food in the romantic, elegant and private atmosphere of the restaurants, where the Hotel offers Guests a genuine and refined cuisine, with menus based on ancient traditional Neapolitan recipes, revisited from a modern perspective with a touch of international sophistication. 
During spring and summer, Guests can enjoy breakfast served on the “La Terrazza” Roof Terrace, and an original and romantic dinner by candlelight in the greenery of the park at the Restaurant “Il Patio” .
Further pleasant moments of relaxation can be enjoyed in the refined and simple elegance of the Lounge Bar, sipping drinks against a background of music in an atmosphere that has to be experienced.

The Conference Centre consists of 13 Meeting Rooms with all the basic equipment and the most modern audiovisual systems, and can accommodate Meetings, Conferences, Seminars and Conventions for up to 250 persons.

The dinner meal was the best we had in Italy! Our compliments to the chef!

Also the Roman ruins in the park behind the hotel were very interesting an added to the enjoyment of our short stay.
