Hotel At St. John is a hotel of garni category and provides an unusual opportunity of romantic accommodation with mystic atmosphere in the building originally used as a vicarage of the Church of St. John on the Rock. The building was built by architect A. Wiehl in neobaroque style in 1902 and is situated below the church. The hotel is immersed in an old time garden within walking distance from the historical centre of Prague, close to the metro and tram station. In the vicinity of the hotel there is the "Faust House" which is famous for the old Prague tale and poem of J.W.Goethe about Dr. Faust and Mefistoteles. The hotel was opened on the first of August 2003 after a sensitive reconstruction and offers accommodation in 14 rooms with a total capacity of 45 beds. Each room is equipped with ensuite bathroom, satellite TV and direct-dial telephone. The reception desk is open 24 hours and our guests can take advantage of hotel safe or fax machine and internet access. There is a possibility of borrowing iron and ironing board, even an umbrella as well. The reception provides information about cultural events, city tours and sells tickets for such. The hotel has a parking possibility for three cars in the locked garden of the church or our guests can use garages situated 300 metres from the hotel.
