General Info

The seaside town of Rimini boasts 15 kms of golden beaches on the Adriatic coast. It is an extremely well-known seaside resort, and comprise a holiday-making playground, which has always been the most significant in Europe from the viewpoint of the number of accommodation, beach bars, night clubs and leisure facilities, as well as the countless theme parks, places for entertainment and occasions for relaxing. All this is backed up by a tradition of hospitality which boasts over 150 years of history, decisive for the growing popularity of the Adriatic Riviera. Yet Rimini goes well beyond the sea: its monuments, which are the living expression of its past glory as a Roman outpost and stronghold, to later become the capital of the Malatesta Seigniory, well worth a visit.

Transports

Federico Fellini International Airport is only 8 km far from the city centre of Rimini and 11 km far from the new fairground in Rimini Celle. The main strip is, with its 3 kilometres of length, the longest in the region Emilia-Romagna. Both scheduled airlines and the most important charter companies from Europe and from the rest of the world land and take off from here.

Business

Thanks to a medley of available meeting rooms (from a conference building catering to 10,000 participants to premises significantly more modest in size) the city often hosts congresses, corporate conventions, or business meetings. Business travel has also developed over the years thanks to trade fairs currently hosted by the new exhibition centre, a leader in Europe.
