Hotel Scott House

I enjoyed my stay at Scott House. The people were very friendly and helpful at all times, and the hotel was good value. Thank you.

I really enjoyed staying in Hotel Scott House, due to staff competence and convenient location of the hotel itself. The room was small but neat and tidy, and I loved the view from this little balcony I had! The road down there is quite noisy and busy though - so it's better to keep balcony door shut at night. I will definitely choose this hotel for my next stay in Rome!

AC was not working properly.Lift was not working in night.Very small room.Reception forgot to give me a wakeup call...(ONLY +VE is its near Station).

Meine Tochter und ich haben 3 Nächte im Scott House verbracht. Das Frühstück war italienisch, also nicht zuviel erwarten - uns hat es aber gereicht. Ich würde es wieder buchen - aber dann mit der Bitte eines Zimmers zum Innenhof, da die Straße schon sehr laut war.

Escaso caudal agua caliente en baño. No siempre agua caliente.

we booked a room for 4 people (2 adults + 2 children), the room was very tiny but clean (just enough place not to fall) room was quiet, every day fesh towels, bathroom tiny but clean,hot water always available. People at the reception were very polite and helpful,all spoke Englisch very good. Breakfast typically Italien (1 coffee, croissant ,butter and marmalade) Extra coffee has to be paid seperately - this should be included, so breakfast was average. In all a nice hotel for some days when you don't expect much comfort.

rispettando le regole della buona educazione dirò solo completamente negativo il mio giudizio finale.I fatti,siamo arrivati 5(cinque ) minuti di ritardo per la colazione,ci hanno servito due pessimi cornetti al banco perchè pur essendoci posto non ci avrebbero servito niente perche fuori dall'orario di ben cinque minuti, mia moglie aveva chiesto un tè che oltre tutto ne aveva bisogno hanno detto di no ho chiesto caffè niente tutto questo sempre all'impiedi al banco,ce ne siamo andati protestando ad una ragazza che ci avevano presentato come la responsabile,non ha saputo dire altro che quelle erano le regole,faccio i miei complimente per la scrupolosità di come si attengono agli ordini impartiti,e pensare che nel mese di novembre ci sono stato due volte di cui una volta era completo e mi hanno mandato all'hotel Aphrodite,un bel modo di trattare i clienti,oppure perchè questa volta avevo scelto il web per fare la mia prenotazione? che a proposito di prenotazione,nella vostra mail di conferma tra le altre cose vi era scritto che io potevo disdire la camera entro giorno 13/12/07 ebbene giorno 12/12 hanno chiesto l'autorizzazzione della somma sulla mia carta ed in pratica da quel momento non potevo disdire niente volendo,bel concetto di scrupolosità,in più hanno hanno richiesto il pagamento in contanti ancora più scrupolosi.A dimenticavo un giovano che loro sostengono che era arrivato entro il limite orario per la colazione e che io non contesto,di fatto è stato servito al tavolino,dopo che noi ce nesiamo andati, ringrazio l'organizzazione e spero di non aver bisogno di alloggiare in uno dei vostri alberghi.

It's a really nice place but it would be nice if there was a chance to make a cup of tea or coffee in the room.

Hatten für 5 Tage das 4er Zimmer ganz oben auf dem Dach mit Terrasse und waren dort oben sehr zufrieden, wenn man den Preis bedenkt, den man in Superlage (Termini 1 Min. - Colosseum 15 Min. zu Fuß) bezahlt. Frühstück war bis auf den Cappuccino nicht der Hit. Wir haben uns im Supermarkt (10 Meter neben dem Eingang) selber Toast und Käse/Wurst gekauft und mit zum Frühstück genommen. Es gab sogar eine Klima und Fernseher (wer ihn braucht) auf dem Zimmer. Die Putzfrau kam jeden Tag. Für Leute, die Rom anschauen und das Hotel zum Übernachten benutzen ist es nach unserer Meinung das ideale Hotel.

No hot water in the morning in my room despite complaining every morning. I find this inexcusable alone.
