Elegance, charm, relax, are just some of the attributes which describe the Suite Oriani, situated in Parioli - Villa Borghese, one of the most exclusive areas in the heart of Rome. Close to Villa Borghese, the Spanish Steps and Piazza del Popolo, the Suite has a strategic position in close proximity to the most famous attractions and the most suggestive itineraries in discovering the "Eternal City" and its historic centre.
The Suite Oriani villa was built in the Liberty style by the architect Furino in 1929. A man of great sensibility, who was influenced by the complex and innovative European stylistic movement which spread between 1880 and 1910 and who found expression in a vast array of artistic forms, he decided to crown the villa with a series of frescoes, figuring winged horses, painted by Duilio Cambellotti, an artist whose most important work includes the effigies at the Nation's Altar-Altare della Patria in Piazza Venezia, Rome.
The Suite Oriani is a historical residence recently renovated; a villa immersed in Parioli's quiet and greenery, an area which has always been Rome's diplomatic centre but also nowadays is becoming renowned as a financial centre and the new "dolce vita", thanks to the opening in 2002 of the "Parco della Musica - Music Park" Auditorium by Renzo Piano, with some of the most important musical events in the world taking place. The area is well connected: the historic centre can be reached with just one metro railway stop or with a breathtaking walk through beautiful Villa Borghese.
All the Suite Oriani rooms are furnished with antiques dating from the 19th and 20th century - paintings, furniture, carpets, precious tapestry and appliches, which fuse with sublime harmony. The rooms with each small detail carefully done, intimate and refined, they have all mod cons. Each room is equipped with independent entrance, private bathroom, air conditioner, Tv, internet access, minibar, room service. Some rooms have balconies. Continental breakfast can be served either in the room or in the garden during summer season.
