The Castellaro Golf Club is a charmingly beautiful tourist and sport resort 5 km from the Arma di Taggia motorway exit and only 4 km from the sea, with a 9-hole golf course, lighted driving range and club house at the heart of the property. A four-star hotel with 64 rooms and 120 holiday apartments (50 of which are studio flats and 70 two-room flats) distributed over a surface of 20 hectares amidst the green of the golf course represent the accommodation offer of this new resort built in a scenic location overlooking the sea. A spacious and tastefully furnished hall welcomes the guests to the hotel, while the breathtaking sea view from the restaurant, a bar and comfortable common rooms add to the charm of the place. All 64 rooms (standard and family rooms) are tastefully decorated, have en suite bath or shower, are provided with direct-dial telephone, Internet connection, satellite TV, safe, hair dryer, air conditioning and heating and enjoy a view of the relaxing green of the golf course or of the dazzling blue of the Ligurian Sea. A big outdoor swimming-pool, a wellness centre with heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, Turkish bath and gym are just some of the leisure amenities of the resort. On-site complimentary parking and garage for guests. A shuttle service runs at scheduled times between Castellaro and the resort beach in Arma di Taggia or the Sanremo Casino. The apartments, built in terraces according to the typical style of the villages of Liguria, are located all around the hotel and overlook the golf course thus enjoying privacy, quiet and contact with the surrounding nature. Studio flats – approx. 30 sqm., accommodate two or three people. Two-room flats – approx. 42 sqm, accommodate four/five people. Guests of the apartments also benefit of complimentary parking and garage. The three restaurants of the resort will tempt guests with excellent cuisine: the elegant restaurant of the hotel, the typical restaurant with the traditional cuisine of Liguria, or the restaurant and bar of the club house that is an ideal meeting place to enjoy delicious food or sip a glass of good wine looking at the course in an elegant but informal atmosphere. The ice-cream bar near the sport facilities is a good occasion for a refreshing break between activities. Banquet halls, conference rooms with reception areas, entertainment rooms for parties, dances and shows complete the offer of the resort. For the leisure time of guests extra fun to be had at a third big swimming-pool; a tennis court; a multisport field for 5-a-side football, basket and volleyball; bowls; children playground; playroom; bicycles and health walks. Adjacent to the resort a horse-riding school organises horseback excursion to the hinterland at special rates for residents.
