Welcome to

Hotel Mercure Siracusa Prometeo is a brand new hotel which will be officially opened in April 2007.
The extensive use of glass within the hotel’s architecture creates a contemporary, minimalist style, providing a light and spacious interior. The hotel’s furnishings have been created by famous designers. Wi-Fi and internet connection is accessible throughout the communal areas.

The hotel overlooks the main archaeological zone of Siracusa, which includes the Greek Theatre, “Ear of Dionysus”, “Archimede’s tomb” and the “Rope-makers” cave.
The “Sanctuary of Our Lady of the tears” and the Paolo Orsi Museum are both within close proximity of the hotel, whilst the beautiful and historical centre of Ortigia, recently recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is within a short walk.
