Grand Hotel De La Ville

We very much enjoyed our stay. The staff were first class. I am not sure whether this is usual in Italy, but there were no tea or coffee making facilities in our room, which would have been nice. Car parking outside the hotel is very limited and it was usually neccessary to abandon our hire car in the street and ask the porter to put it in the underground car park for us(this requires more skill than I could muster due to the difficult access). All things considered, if we return to the area in the future we will make this hotel our first choice.
