Welcome to

"This House of Senses", avant-garde with contemporary design, charming and welcoming, it gives us a fusion of stone and wood, with ethnic touches from distant culture such as Arabic, present in the bas-relief and lattices of doors and windows and the rotundity of African art, in the numerous sculptures which fill the living rooms. Located in a natural forest environment and vegetable garden and surrounded by a magnificent garden.

Nestled high in the heart of Gran Canaria’s rugged mountains is the tiny hamlet of La Lechuza, and here you will find Hotel Rural Las Calas – once a 17th century manor house, now a cosy country inn. Renovated in 1999, the inn is a comfortable mix of traditional Spanish furnishing and African flair, with rooms built around a verdant central garden.
The 9 rooms of Las Calas are decorated in rustic Canarian style – white-washed walls, dark wood trim, ceramic wall-plates and textile hangings. Owner Magui has placed some of her own little treasures about the rooms so they have a comfy, personal feel.
